// 01. OVERVIEW

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Tan Thanh Dung Plastic is a Vietnamese manufacturer specializing in plastic packaging and food-grade plastic products for the B2B market.

As production capacity expanded, the company required more than a traditional corporate website. The objective was to establish a complete digital ecosystem capable of representing the brand professionally, supporting technical product catalogs, improving search visibility, and providing a centralized platform for content management. Designed by gndme as a decoupled architecture consisting of a Next.js storefront, a FastAPI backend and a custom administration system.

// 02. BUSINESS CHALLENGES

IDENTIFIED LIMITATIONS

• B2B Digital Absence
Limited online presence for B2B buyers seeking technical product verification.
• Product Catalog Chaos
Difficult for buyers to search and compare technical specifications and materials.
• Weak Search & GEO Visibility
Absence of structured schema markup, Google Maps targeting & local SEO indexing.
• No Centralized CMS
Content & product data difficult to maintain manually across static HTML pages.
// 03. SOLUTION & PROJECT SCOPE

THREE-LAYER DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM

The ecosystem combines marketing, technical documentation, SEO, administration and security into a unified platform built on three major layers: Public Storefront, Enterprise CMS, and Digital Infrastructure.

PUBLIC STOREFRONT
  • • Corporate Website Storefront

  • • Lead Management (Zalo & Hotline)
ENTERPRISE CMS
  • • Product & Spec Manager
  • • Article & News Publisher
  • • RBAC Admin Authentication
INFRASTRUCTURE & SEO
  • • Technical & Local GEO SEO
  • • Enterprise HTTP Security Headers
  • • Core Web Vitals SSR Optimization

// 05. ENGINEERING DECISIONS

ARCHITECTURAL RATIONALE

WHY NEXT.JS?

The storefront is built with Next.js App Router to enable server-side rendering, fast page delivery, and dynamic metadata generation. This architecture improves search indexing while maintaining an excellent user experience across all devices.

WHY FASTAPI?

FastAPI provides asynchronous request handling, automatic OpenAPI documentation, and strong type validation through Pydantic. It enables the backend to remain maintainable while supporting future enterprise integrations.

WHY POSTGRESQL?

PostgreSQL was selected for its ACID compliance, relational consistency, and scalability. Combined with SQLAlchemy ORM and connection pooling, it provides a reliable foundation for long-term growth.

WHY SECURITY FIRST?

Security headers including HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, and Referrer Policy are enforced directly at the Nginx reverse proxy layer to strengthen browser security and domain trust.

WHY SEO & GEO FIRST?

The platform was designed with structured metadata, LocalBusiness schema, product schema, and geographic targeting from inception rather than treating SEO as a post-development task.

// 07. DESIGN NOTES & REFLECTION

SYSTEM ARCHITECT REFLECTION

This project demonstrates that a modern corporate website should no longer be treated as a collection of static pages. Instead, it should function as a digital ecosystem where branding, technical documentation, search optimization, content management, and enterprise infrastructure operate as a unified platform.
